who makes the best book on building chevys and where do I get it

well there are two books that you should have for beginners

1. is this one http://www.amazon.com/How-Rebuild-Yo...7654960&sr=8-2

2. is this one http://www.amazon.com/How-Rebuild-Sm...655078&sr=8-12

haveing both is an good idea

the first one has info that the 2end one don't have and the 2end one has the correct Bore and crank sizes (there is an error on the 305 in the 1st one)

Default chevy engine book

Just bought How to build big inch chevy small blocks by Graham Hansen, at Autozone for about $20. Has all kind of ideas for stroker small blocks up to 454 cubic inches. A lot of good info and part numbers. If it helps, book is published by CarTech 1-800-551-4754.
