1982 power seat motor problem
The power seat will move forward and backward (middle switch-toggle) and the rear will move up and down (rear blade-type switch). The front (blade-type switch) will not move up and down. I hear a clunk, but no movement. Any ideas?

Sounds like the front cable in the transmission. The seat transmission was one piece and the cables are another part. You want to check the cable and mechanism at the front of the assembly. you will find a spring and bracket by the this control. Don't know if you can still get these. If not try a corvette salvage yard.
