Guys i have a little problem with my pick up truck ,it has a paxton novi 2000 on it,my peoblem is i put on a smaller pulley on it and it does not run any better,why is this?i went from 12# to 18 to 20# ,i have a intercooler in front of the radiator .
When i had the weiand blower on my vette and changed pulley it went even faster,i dont understand,the fuel delivery is different ,the vette has carb and the truck is FI.

How do you know it's getting enough fuel?

Ok i have afr heads, forged everything, up the size of injectors from 19 to 42,inline high pressure pump,comes in when boost is sensed,i have a chip burned for computer,because its a 1993.Its like if i just add a couple pounds of boost it doesnt run any better.The truck is setup pretty good,blower can put out up to 30#.Also i should not have said i used 18# of boost never got there.

I am tring to understand this,if i boost my vette say 5# extra ,it will run faster,not changing anything,but if i boost the truck any it runs the same or even worst the more i through at it.whats the difference,is it fuel injection?or computer tuned thats holding it back?both will ping when you get to a curtain boost level.you need better fuel.I just get lost when it comes to the new stuff,computer cars.
