Default master cylinder rear

when bench bleeding a new master cylinder should the rear line pump fluid for the whole stroke? while watching the lines I noticed that the front pumps fluid for the full stroke but the rear only pumped for the first part then quit

This doesn't sound right. I believe the the rear brakes should activate slightly before the front to help keep the rear end from swinging around, but after a slight pedal travel, both front and rear will continue to get full pressure.
I just went through a months long ordeal with my MC. My 5 yr old Autozone rebuild went south, so I returned it and asked for credit towards a new unit, as I have had alot of prolems with rebuilt parts and will always buy new when available. They told they could not do this and gave me another rebuilt unit. It lasted about 2 mos. and went out at a very inconvient time. So I bought a new unit from Napa--there store brand. Get home and bench bleed it on Sun. afternoon and notice "China" cast into the bottom of it. WTF?
So, being Sun afternoon and it is now full of fluid, I put it on. It too lasted a few months.
I returned it to Napa and asked for a new American one. No such listing. Only the same part #. But when it came, it did not have "China" stamped into the the casting. OK, probably a quality unit made in the USA! But, no such luck. While bench bleeding this one, it started leaking through the *** end.
I returned it--Napa people were very understanding and gave me a refund with no static.
So I ordered a AC Delco on line and when it arrived, it's marked "China" on the box! AC Delco China!! It's been on the car for about 50 miles and works fine so far. Lets hope that the AC China unit has better seals then the Napa China unit. Maybe someone in America acutally makes a new unit?
