In my 79, there is a cover that slides out from the back. I set an important paper on it when it was pulled out and, not thinking, backed down my inclined driveway. Is there a way to get behind the pull out cover?
Any input would be much appreciated.

Yes Doug,
The rear sunshade is held on place with some screws that go in to well nuts! I think I have a picture of how it comes out.
You'll have to remove the rear shelf first to get in there.
Let me see what I can dig up for you and I'll post again.

Just a note: The nuts, number 7 tend to spin in the fiberglass before you have the screw out. If this happens just stop turning the screw and move to the next one. The nut will come out with the shade when this happens. Also, it is always smart before installing to start each nut a few threads on the screw instead of pushing it in the hole. If you push them in the hole first you can (and probably will) push one through the fiberglass. Once they go inside you can not get them out.
