I've just installed remanufactured brake calipers on all 4 wheels and completely bled the system. The car pulls to the right somewhat on braking and returns to center when I release the brakes. Any ideas on what's wrong would be appreciated.
Did you replace the front rubber hoses? If they are old, they may have come apart on the inside and caused a flow restriction. Could also be some type of suspension/steering issue. Did it pull before you changed the calipers?
Bleed the brakes one more time. You can do the "loan a tool" program and get a vacuum bleeder, which does a great job of flushing the system.
If you have not completely flushed the brake fluid, you need to. buy a big bottle of brake fluid and suck out all the old fluid until it runs clear.
You can typically tell if there is a restriction in the line with the vacuum bleeder.
If you don't find a restriction and don't find any air, and still have the pull on braking, have the car aligned. Sometimes alignment issues are not noticeable unless you are under hard braking. It could even be a bad shock.
Good luck and be sure to post what you finally determine what the problem is.
Thanks! I bled everything again (the conventional way) and everything's now working properly. By the way, I had already purged out all of the old fluid, but thanks for the tip anyway.
