Anyone know what this is?
It was mounted with one screw (kinda) on the tranny hump in front of the Heat/AC controls towards the firewall. You could tell it wasn't mounted in the right spot but looks like it should go somewhere close.
Also, it's full of rust and there's a circuit board in the bottom of it.

Sorry, JimT, best check your AIM's or wiring diagrams again, as the module in question indeed connects to the wiper/washer switch assembly.

I was going to say it looked like Refletix (sp) insulation, but some unknown object was blocking my view, so I couldn’t be sure.

Thanks ya'll.
I just checked and a NOS is $350.00. Don't know right if my wipers are still working since I have the battery out installing the heat shield. They were working, but when I was holding the relay up to take a photo a little transistor fell out. Guess I'll find out soon enough.
PS.........please don't tell me Reflextix doesn't work as a heat shield, I just finished putting it in.
