what is the bore size of a 77 master cylinder and is there any other diference in the 77 and up vs the 76 and earlier masters besides the bore sizes? i am doing a hydroboost conversion and was told i needed to change to a 77 and up master. i am interested in going with an aftermarket master so i need to know the specs on the 77 and up. thanks for any info guys. didnt have much luck with the search.

'69-'76 PB master cylinders were 1.125", while the '68-'76 manual master cylinders were 1". All '77-'82 master cylinders are 1.125", but came with metric metering holes.
The pushrod primary piston depth is different between the '76-'77 cylinders. As I recall, the pushrod recess for the early piston is ~1" deep, the '77 and on ~1/8" deep. The cylinders are interchangeable, but the guts are not.
thanks for the info guys. after doing some checking with the above info and looking at the hydro unit i have, i can use a 1.125 bore with with a shallow piston recess. this helps take some of the guess work out of it. that wilwood unit is one of the ones i was looking at!
