Default VBP dual mount system

I know we have all seen this thread before, but I simply can't stress this enough. For some reason, the bolts that hold the spring onto the mounts like to come out.

So, please, dear god, if you have this system installed, check that sucker from time to time. I didn't, obviously, and am now missing a bolt. Luckily, I got home just fine...but now I have to call VBP and see about getting a replacement. And also trying to find a solution to this problem.

Used a dab of blue loctiite on mine that will hopefully keep me out of trouble, but will continue to check, thanks for the warning.

Can you take a picture of which bolt(s) you are talking about? Also, is this the front or the rear system?
I have the front Performance Plus system, and getting ready to install it soon. Is this like what you have?
Vette Brakes Perf Plus, front

Would blue Loctite hold it better?

Thanks for the heads up anyway!

If I am thinking the same bolts mie have Nyloc nuts on them so even if they loosen somehow they will not back out. The Nyloc nuts work very well.

I have that system in the front, and thus far, have had no problems. It's only the bolts that hold the spring in the rear that seem to like to come out...

I wonder why the kit didn't come with those? The actual spring bolts (the long ones) came with airplane nuts...
