Chevy Orange

What is the correct paint for 1975 engine orange? I got VHT SP 123 It seems too RED! I was not happy that the nozzle screwed up and ruined the paint job.

I used engine orange from Eastwood. It was a dead on match on my 1976 car. You may want to give them a try.

I had some PPG mixed for my 73 and they crossed it to Ford Red

I used Duplicolor Chevy Orange and it was a perfect match on my valve covers.

Check out POR15 Chevy Orange Engine paint. I bought the kit that had all the cleaners, metal prep, primer and top coat in one package. Here is the link:

I painted my differential with it. That stuff sticks good and is tough. Well worth it in my opinion.

I can get a picture if you want. but they claim their paint is used on many award winners and it was recommended here on the forum when I inquired a couple years go. Goes on real thick. Comes in spray cans. I bought 2 cans to do my engine and I still have 1/2 a can.
