I just finished putting on a new front sway bar that I modified for use with heim joints. I cut the ends of the bar, notched the cut ends, and added plates to re-orient the holes to horizontal to better accomodate the length of the heim joints and not introduce so much angle into the bar. I still had to cut the heim joints down to make them as short as possible, since the car is lowered so much.
Taking a cue from the T1 rear bar for C5/C6, and with the help of one of the GM engineers who developed the T1 package, I added holes to allow for adjustability to make the bar stiffer or softer depending on what is needed. The bar is 1-1/8", and the middle hole is set at the same length as the bar's original endlink location, and the inner and outer holes are spaced such that changing to them represents about a +/- 1.1mm change in bar diameter.
I should have utilized this adjustability on Sunday and set the bar stiffer-it was cold and the car was too loose.
I'm waiting for somebody to adapt one of te newer Splined style Bars to the C3. Probably use a Bar from another aplication and then CNC the end links for C3's....

I think Norval did that, but I can't find the thread.
