Help with '77 power windows
The power windows stopped working in my '77 out of the blue. Any suggestions on what the problem could be? Already replaced the blown fuse I found but didn't help.

I'm afraid I have bad news. You need to tear the door apart. I would say that more than likely the motor is shot. It could be a shorted switch or something broke on the regulator binding it up, but if it blows the fuse, it's probably a bad motor. Either way, tearing into the doors on these cars isn't fun. did both of your windows quit at the same time if so it is most likely the power window relay which is under the console.
make sure to check the wires in the door jam they can get caught and pinched.
