Default Turn signals

Hi, I have a 1979 L-82 and the turn signals have stopped working. The first time out they worked intermittently but now they don't work at all. The weird thing is the hazards still work perfect. I have sprayed contact cleaner in the actual switch and that didn't help. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Did you try to replace the turn signal flasher which is located under passenger side of dash?

There are separate flashers for the hazards and for the turn signals. Turn signal flasher is behind the passenger’s side dash and can be reached from underneath. Hazard flasher is on the fuse panel by the drivers left foot. They both look identical. They are cylindrical about 1 1/8" in diameter and about 1" long with two spade terminals on one end.

Hope this helps,

Mike.

Yea, I found the fuse panel by the drivers left foot, switched the two flashers and the turn signals now work so that was the problem. Just have to pick a new flasher for the hazards now.

Thanks for all the help!!
