Removed cam this morning. I am trying to identify if stock cam or not. Does not have any markings on either end. Between the lobes has these:
CWC
1529
C12
D12
15
Any ideal?
Hmmm, that's a tough one. I'm not one for numbers but the only way I can think of figuring the specs are to take it to a machine shop and have them use a dial indicator. If the lobes are worn you could get an inaccurate reading.
the best way to check out a cam is with a CAM DOCTOR machine.
but, in this case, i suggest you throw it away, order 2 or 3 cams based on the various advice, try each one and see what you like best.
when you install, check specs against the cam card, using a dial indicator and a degree wheel.
