I took the buzzer warning unit out about 2 months ago because it would not shut up... went bad.... Got a new one in and now i forgot what wire went where,,,, went to my trusty GM service manual and... well... you know... so here we are... Here are some pics of what I have so far. The Grey single wire coming out of the unit I plugged it into what i THINK is the right place... book says it should be green... again, go figure....so is it plugged into the right place? and there is supposed to be another 2 wires to hook up to it, I have a pic of possably 2 free wires, BUT tey are a different color then the trusty GM service manuel says... AND ther is no keying for it if it is the correct connector.
Does anyone have some pictures to share with me of there 79 spider web mess? down under...
thx... got that in my service manuel... wire color does not match what I have.... But i just went and plugged it in anyway after checking power and it seems to work, so for now it seems problem is solved... knock on wood....... Thank you so much for posting the schematic. It seems Chevy was not one for keeping a good color scheme....
thx again.. p:-)
AHHH.... scrolled down you page a bit... got the single wire plugged into the wrong place!! ill fix that! WOOHOO!!! thx!!!!!!!!1 :-)....
