Default Something missing on this 1969 L-71?

Hi
I am looking at a L-71 from january 1969. When looking in the the engine room it seems to me somethings a missing: the aluminium tank on the passenger side, the original passenger side valve cower and the radiator
Any other thing missing

Both valve covers are incorrect...not GM. They should have the "stands" to hold the wires. They also don't look like GM covers. Should also be a "surge tank" under the passengers fender. Some AC cars didn't use the tank, but 435 cars couldn't be ordered with AC. Can't see the radiator in your pictures. Also, the smog system is missing. Hope this helps. Chuck

I see a radiator there. Probably not the correct one though as it has a cap. What looks missing to me is the washer jug, hoses to the heater core, A-arm dust covers, and the fan and shroud. Maybe 69 didn't have some of those things - I'm going by '71.

Is that fuel supply to the carb stock? Looks like a home depot setup to me.
Those pictures are very difficult to see.

I'm not an expert, but it looks like a Mallory Unilite and coil, in place of the stock tach drive distributor/ coil setup. Non-stock air filter element, non-stock plug wires, headers instead of cast iron manifolds, no ignition shielding, alternator wiring looks funny. Check the block and head #s; VERY important in pricing; also trans and rear end;#'s should be same as car; should have rear sway bar; rear end should have caps instead of u-bolts.
After I wrote all this, I realized that you should probably get all this info and post it under "Factory Correct Resto."! Those NCRS guys REALLY know their stuff.

I don't see the radiator shroud or fan and there is no dust seal on the a-arm.

Hi
I'm not an expert , but this engine compartment looks clean.
Some things missing or modified, as already previously mentioned, but when the block casting, date and VIN stamping and the intake and tri-carb setup match the car's date, it shouldn't harm having this minor parts missing.
How is the condition of the car otherwise ?
Just for my interest, what is such a car going for ?
Thanks. Gunther :seeya

The car goes for around 31.000 $ without mile documentation, probaly too expensive
