Default Exhaust System-Corvette Central ?

Has anyone used a dual exhaust system from Corvette Central?

I am considering the system #323130. Its 2.5" duals w "H" pipe built in. Comes w shorty headers w 2.5" dump. Magnaflow mufflers. I have an 81 4-spd w about 275hp.

Just curious how they fit, quality etc.

Thanks

I just installed the 2 to 2.5 true dauls and I could not have been more pleased with the fit and sound, the car has more power and runs smooth. I buy all my parts from corvette america but they drop shipped the exhaust from corvette central and it arrived within 5 days.

I just installed a Magnaflow system for my '71. 2.5" with an "X" pipe front to back. Very nice sound at WOT and smooth idle/acceleration. A little quiet at idle for my taste, but I'm hoping some of that sound dampening material will burn out.

Oh yeah, and I got mine through www.planetmagnaflow.com. Mandrel bent tubing shipped directly from Magnaflow. If it is not mandrel bent, I won't buy it.

Default Just added Magnaflow

Had Corvette Central 2 to 2-1/2 duals with old stock mufflers on my 78 L48 4 spd. Did a Vortec head swop last summer and the system was loud and vibrated. Added the CC Magnaflow this year and they sound great quiet & smooth at idle, no resonece, great thunder at WOT. Plus the fit well and look correct on the car.

I went to this site and there is no photo for the small block set-up. It describes the mufflers as turn down tips...how do they look on your 71? Any photos?

Did mine too. Good price, good quality, good fit. I went with the set up that bolted up to the original exhaust manifolds though.

new exhaust is the next big item on my list.
Remove the 2 to 1 and converter and going dual all the way back.

Default fit not that great

i did the corvette central exhaust on my 1980, fit was not what it could be, i had to cut down the pipes by about a half inch, and go to an exhaust shop to get some of them tweaked.

other than that, i am happy with it

Here is the big block setup. My understanding is the small block is choked at 2" is several spots. I have a 350 and went with this because it is a true 2.5" dual exhaust.
