.....if you are talking about tapping the rear passage in the head that is blocked by the manifold, i dont think you have enough meat on most manifolds??

What exactly is an engine thermometer? Does it measure water temp? Where on the manifold is it located?

i am using the transdapt thermostat housing that has the threaded hole in it to mount my electric fan temp probe.
when i compared it to the temp sender to the dash in the intake right to the left of it. there was only a 10 degree difference in temp.
