M/C solenoid

installed new ecm and m/c solenoid which cured my problems that i have been having the last three months on my '81. when we first installed everything, the solenoid would cycle when you turned the key on but not start. after one day of running the solenoid does not cycle when the key is on but not start. once started you can here it cycle and it is running great. is everything ok or am i going just worrying too much?????? thanks, namvet

need to rephrase my wording.... with the key in the on position and not running it doesnt cycle. when you start it , it does cycle and runs fine.

I think that's correct. It should only cycle when running or when you run the diagnostic.

If it runs dine, don't worry about it. That's what it's supposed to do.
