Default hydroboost/vacuum assist
I have a 71 with manual brakes. After reading some of the threads on here I'm leaning towards adding hydroboost power brakes. Has anyone ever installed hydroboost and tried to make it look like vacuum assist?

Not possible, the HB units are long and skinny the vac boosters are short and fat.....

I dont think its impossible to do, but you need A LOT of fabrication, and still it wont look like a stock vacuum booster by %100.

Who cares what it looks like the braking is way improved. No way to make the HB lok like vacuum booster. 99% of the time the hood is closed anyway. Just knowing you have better brakes should be enough.
