Default control valve replacement and alignment??

hello, i have just replaced the control valve and all four hoses on my 74. i adjusted the bolt inside the dust cover...however, once i finished up and had everything ready to go...i noticed the front tires (still on stands) fading just a bit to the right.....once down and on the test drive....i noticed the steering wheel is right of center when traveling striaght and maybe just a very little fade to the right when driving...but the main concern is the steering wheel off to the right which makes a quicker reaction when turning the wheel left...and now the the question, do i need to take the dust cover off, disconnect the rod from frame and try adjusting again OR head to the shop for an alignment?
sorry for such a long post but trying to spell it all out. THANKS

Sounds like your "Centering" if off. Lengthen the left tie rod and shorten the right one. Make sure to turn both an equal amount. PG.

Default update...still leaking!

thanks, i will try that but.........i thought the new valve had done the trick but looked under car this morning and had a big puddle of ps fluid....ive done the hoses and the control valve....what else could it be, the pump leaking? any suggestions? also, it doesnt seem to leak right after driving it...seems to take awhile (overnight) to start leaking good..does this mean anything? THANKS

It's either the pump, or a loose hose connection. Either one will be obviously wet and easy to pinpoint. If you need to replace the pump, keep the pulley. You may need a puller to remove the pulley.
