Which years came with auto trans ONLY?

Which years came with auto trans ONLY?
Just wanted to know which years C3s had no transmission choices and were automatic only. I was thinking it was early 80's maybe?
Also, what were the manual transmissions that were used? Were they T-10, or Muncie, or something else?

82 was auto only. Not sure about other years. Muncie was used until 74 (thanks 45ACP) and then they went to Borg Warner T-10's but kept the M-## designation from the Muncie's as the RPO #.

Weren't there some years where only an auto was allowed in CA, even tho other states could get manuals?

No manuals for Calif in 78, 79, 80, and nation wide in 82. You could get a manual in CA in 81. All emission related.

BTW, does anyone know how the transmission affected emissions? I thought manuals got better gas mileage
