Default outside window install
What am I missing on installing the outside mirrows on 76. I have the well nuts tight and when I install the mirrow it's not right. It is no where close to a tight fit.

The mirror pinches down onto the black plastic gasket. I usually have to grind off some of the base so it pulls down tighter.
