Does anyone have any suggestions for big block headers for a 70 Vette with the GM crate 427. Custom street shop chassis so there is rack and pinion. The main thing is quality and steetabilty. No race car!
Search those two part numbers on this site for feedback. The Hedman's are less expensive. If you're going to get coated headers (strongly suggested to reduce underhood temps) the Hedman coating isn't very good; the Hooker is superior. That's my personal experience.
I have the Hedman's also and agree the fit is very good. My only complaint is plug wire boot clearance on the #1 cylinder. I had to ding them there for clearance.
Also take a look at McJacks Corvettes. They sell a coated set that looks very nice on their site, but I havent seen them in person.
Stahl or Lemon's Headers makes really nice headers too, but at a custom price.
