Default Another question?

What should I set my idle at?
The haynes manual states 700 rpm in drive so I guess I put her in drive and with my foot on the brake have the idle at 700?

But my 74 doesnt have the stock carb. Ist a holley 650 cfm with an RPM 2101 intake, different heads and cam too...

So what speed should my idle be in drive and in park?

Its an automatic so you do not want the idle high enough that it is tugging, wanting it to move. You don't give cam specs or if it has a different torque conveter either. How does it idle at 800-900 RPMs?

The Cam is a Comp Cam: Comp Cam XS256S cam & lifter (218/224 , 0.465/0.477) and the heads are Edelbrock: Heads: EDL-60909 heads, 64cc

Well I set it yesterday at 700 rpm in drive with my foot on the brake but it seemed high when driving...
