Default BBC Oil Pan Configuration

I'm building a clone L-88 engine for my late production (38318) '69 and am having trouble positively determining the correct oil pan configuration for that engine. I've seen oil plugs located on the left side, rear, and bottom of the pan on various cars, the owners of same all saying that it's the original engine.

Is the 14091356 pan that the General sells the correct design?

Thanks

My understanding is that the original pan used on the L88 and LS7 was 3977591, 5qt. capacity with a trap door, and came with baffle 3967854. From what I can tell, the 14091356 replaced that #.
