The Performer air gap is only about 1/4" taller than Performer 2101 & will fit under the med. rise 77 hood w/ many air filters.
The RPMs need a drop base & fit fine w/ Holley.

A Performer Air Gap is taller than a Performer, lower than an RPM (RPM and RPM Air Gap are same height). I have an RPM Q-Jet under the stock hood of my '75 with a 3'" air filter. I just use a Moroso Low Profile Racing Aircleaner (had to dimple the base a little for the accelerator pump arm). Fits great.
