This is my first visit to the C3 forum. I'm in Australia.
I have a 69 coupe #2185. The car is in very original condition. Under the inside lining of one of the t-tops, there is a chalk sketch of the side of a lady's face. I can email a picture (cos I don't know how to attach it). Has anyone heard of this kind of sketching happening on the production line? Is it something significant? You could almost see the letter "R" on the face, is that something significant?
Any help or thoughts would be very welcome! Thanks...JOE
Must have been a slow day at the plant, I've seen initials on the inside of panels but never drawings. Once when I bought a new Chevy truck in 78, I was installing stereo speakers in the kick panels, and found a coffee cup.
Does it include her measurments and phone number?? :jester OH..Wait, she'd probably be in her 60's by now... forget it. I have someones initials on the inside of my door panel.. in what looks like red nail polish!!
