I just got back from the body shop and my man said my vette will be done in 1 -2 weeks. Fresh BRANDS HATCH GREEN. I told him i do a lot of vette car shows and some local cruise nights so he is spending a lot of extra time on it . While he has been doin his thing , i painted all the little lines on the center caps semi gloss black. I bought new trim rings. New stingray emblems. New sill plates, clutch and brake pedal pads and stainless steel trim. I gave him all new weather strip and seal kits for the entire car. I had some  so i better stop rambling but you get the idea i'm pretty excited. :D   :seeya ................
I really have to disagree with that! Nine months to paint a car....That is outrageous. All weatherstripping replaced including t-tops, all door trims and whiskers, new door panels, etc. The parts were my expense. April 2000. Still looks fine.
This is a very nice job and took two weeks. Dupont Chroma Premier base/clear.
Well first of all this body shop is a one man operation. He is up to date on all the latest high tech . He has painted many corvettes and other high end cars for show. When i brought my car to him i had taken all bumpers and everything off the car. He has had the car almost 4 months now. The thing is he only works on it in between collision wrecks. I thought i would have it back by now, even though i check in with him every week or so i would never ask him ( when is it going to be done). I can just wait.........  :seeya .............
