You have to figure to get the dash cluster out you have to un-hook the speedo cable and the center printed circuit connector of which are both in the general area of the lamp bulb you are after.
I would be careful and make sure you can twist in the new bulb and not let the printed circuit connectors slip out when installing it back in the car. But I think you can do this.
If not, worse case would be you would have to pull the cluster and that only takes about 10 minutes to do.
Some people elect to not remove the steering wheel or drop the bolts out of the lower column. However doing this will give you extra room and I don't like scratching the paint on the column so it is a safer way.
