Just acquired a 71K mile '81 w/4spd & FE7 and it has a distinct vibration when accelerating and decelerating. Not much there when coasting at all so I don't think it is the tires. No pulling either so I doubt the alignment. No noises when cornering but I haven't ruled out the diff. From other posts I have read I am beginning to suspect it is the trailing arms. Does that sound about right?
The first items I bought were the repair manuals.
I sit here wondering to myself how much of a pain this job will be compared to the clutch swap I did in my Z06. I'll use the search function to determine how much "while I'm in there" work will be involved as well. Car is very original so I'm sure it'll need a few things while I have it apart. Any suggestions from those who have done this before?
