You need a torque wrench and assembly manual along with good basic mechanic skills - the manual will show the correct order of parts and give torque values. Go slow and if something does not look right - chances are it's not.

While you are at it, take a look at the dual mount setup - I have it on my new '69 chassis. It gives two adj mount postions on the rear x/member and deletes the mount to the rear end

It's not the best photo, but this shot shows the 2 mounts

If you are keeping the front mostly stock, its prob best to just bolt in a composite - if you are also tuning front suspension, the dual mt looks attractive

Keep in mind, my setup has yet to be run:o so you can desregard everything I just said

Good Luck, Ed

I've run numerous combinations on my 71 in the 18 years that I've had it - steel springs, VB composite, TRW composite, Delco shocks, Koni shocks, Bilsteins, etc, etc.
The best combo I've found is TRW 310 spring, Bilstein HDs, 5/8" anti roll bar, smart struts bracket, 17" wheels and tires, poly bushings. - smooth and corners on rails......
