What does everyone think about these versus AFR 180's?

First thoughts are the AFR's are alumiinium, the others look like they're cast iron. AFR's in front so far, but depends on what you want.
The AFR's are not Vortec, so your existing inlet manifold (if you have a good one) will fit.
There are no exhaust risers in the AFR heads. Not sure how this will effect your existing choke set up or smog requirements.
Are you looking for a financial comparison or a performance comparison?

I am looking at straight performance. I know I can do better than these, but they are both near my budget.

Didn't I PM you on this kit and other budget options already? You'll be hard pressed to do much better for this entire combo, bang for your buck. There have been several builds with this kit and many happy campers already.
