75 verses 78 hood. interchangable with modifications?

Default 75 verses 78 hood. interchangable with modifications?
I have a left over, good used hood from a 78 Vette. Another person wants to buy it to go on his 75. I know there are some latch differences but is it adaptable?

That is news to me. The only difference I know of is the louver on the hood scoop. I think you can still use it.

You are correct the latches are diffrent. I guess anything is possible to make it work.

75 hood latches have the pins that lock into the cowl. 77 started with the hook type locks.

So has anyone ever used the 75 hardware, mounted it to the 78 hood and made it work?
