Gen V 454 install questions

Gen V 454 install questions
Hi All,
I am trying to get my 71 into a state where it is no longer a "pusher" because pushing cars is a drag. I have a Gen V 454 from a 93 Burban in stock that I am prepping for install, and yes, I know it is underpowered and a stone and all that, but free is free.
My questions for anyone who has installed one of these, or a Gen-VI, in a C3 are as follows:
Does a Gen V-VI truck oil pan fit the chassis? The car does not have power steering or brakes.
For Gen V-VI motor with Hooker sidepipes/headers, what dipstick and tube would work? Are there clearance issues?
I have the adapter to add the z-bar pivot ball, any issues with this?
