does anyone know what color the reheat hose from the exhaust manifold to the air cleaner on a 1976 should be? when i got the car it was a black coated one.... it was ripped.....ordered a new on and it came silver??

That"s the kind of documantation i am looking for. So i am guessing the black vinyl coated hose was the aftermarket. i am trying to keep the vehicle correct. Thank You

Pretty sure it should be black. All my originals(2 78s and a 79) are black.
I did paint a new GM one with hi-temp black for my black79s return to 'original'. Holding up nicely.
