When adjusting the valves/lifters with the car running, I seem to recall there is an easy way to do this.
1. Loosten the rocker nut until the arm starts to "click".
2. Tighten the nut slowly until the clicking stops.
3. Give 1/2 turn more to tighten the rocker.
Is that correct? Is it 1/2 turn or 1 full turn to tighten?
Re: Real quick valve adjustment question (Corellian Corvette)
Most books say one full turn. I prefer half to three quarters. Go to your wrecker get a valve cover and cut the top off snug it for adjusting. stops the oil from squirting all over the place which will happen when you start it up.

Correct. That's all there is to it. I go 1/2 turn. No need to go anymore than that.
