Horn stopped working?

Horn stopped working?
It stopped working all of a sudden. I do hear and feel a clicking sound at the little plastic box by the fuse panal. Could that be the cause or should I look further?

I just found the problem . One horn was bad (rust) and it prevented the other from working. I pulled wire out and the other horn works fine. I guess I'll be searching for a set of horns soon, any suggestions?

Go to your favorite junkyard and take along a small tool kit that contains a two foot section of wire. Find a car with a working battery and when you find some likely candidate horns, pull the horn(s) and take it to the car with the battery. Ground the horn mounting bracket and run the wire to the + terminal of the battery. If the horn is good you should hear a muted or screechy sound. I found horns for my buddy's 73 and my 66 that way.

Another option would be to check out some of your Vette Catalogs. New horns in them run around $25.00 each. You can also do what I did and go to Auto Zone. They sell both the low note and high note horns for around $15.00 each, and they work great. :flag
