Window Rattle Fix
On my recently purchased 79 T top the driver side window rattles really loud when you close the door and also when driving , like the window is ready to fall out, but only with the window down. The passenger side is not as bad. I removed the driver side door panel and found that the two gismos ( don't know the correct name) that should keep the window from rattling are in place and look in good condition but there is a lot of in and out play in the window. Does anyone know why this is occuring and what the fix may be.*

A few things come to mind:

The door window pad adjusters hold tension on the glass and the pad wears out under the cat hair. http://willcoxcorvette.com/product_i...ducts_id=24196

i had that issue too 79. tightned the bottom mounting bots (gently) on the window glass itself, then i adjusted the door pads out a bit so that hey were snug on the window. solved that problem.
