Vinyl convertible top - how to make it blacker?
Mine seem to be either fading or impregnated with dirt that the blackness is going away. Any trick on how to make it blacker?

i used a product called black chrome on faded black plastics and vinals before which worked great..or have u thought about getting black spray dye for plastic and cloths, it would should work great for ur purpose..lol

It's a Turtle Wax product. Should be available from any auto supply store.

Anybody make a similar product for white tops. No matter how hard I scrub with any product, I can't get it to look the way it did when new just a few years ago?

hey paul there is a product for white also but i forget the name..i will look for it for u..u too could use spray dye which is a great solution and availible thru vette catalogs or performance stores :)
