Default need a question answered

here is the question

I ordered a horn part for my steering colunm from willcox and they sent me an email saying my order was shipped, that was almost 10 days ago.

I called them today and a sales rep told me it was not shipped at all!!!

he said they are waiting to get thos parts in from a shipment maybe today (he said)

He said he would call me back today and let me know what was going on with my order,NO CALL,NO CALL

IS THIS A GOOD COMPANY TO ORDER MY PARTS FROM,CAN ANYBODY GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK ON THIS ISSUE?

thanks for the advice

here is another one for this company!

called wilcox two days ago and gave a sales rep my part numbers for parts i need.
had my credit card ready he said (no i dont need that i will call you tomorrow and let you know about this order)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thought this is dumb i need this stuff now
next day (NO CALL) IF I DID NOT NEED THESE PARTS I WOULD NOT HAVE CALLED IN THE FIRST PLACE...

Went to their website to see if maybe somehow he ordered them for me somehow without my card number, loged in (NO ORDER)

Sombody needs to find out what is up with this company im sure the owner would be upset to know that in about 6 weeks when i get to my interior of my car that was going to be around a 3000.00 dallar sale, and now because of this i ordered my parts from corvette central and will most likly order everything else from them to.

THIS LETTER IS JUST TO LET THE OWNER OF THIS COMPANY KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON.

I have ordered lots of parts from Willcox with never a problem. I feel they are one of our finer forum venders. give them a chance. Call them tomorrow and ask for Norm or Tommy I guarantee you will find out there was just a breakdown in communication. Willcox moniters our posts regularly they should reply to you soon.

Killer,

I ordered some items and it took them a while but I must admit that they've been the most helpful at answering questions I have. I believe I will actually pay a little more for some items but they're hospitality to me has been unmatched by a couple of the other vendors I have dealt with. Especially Mr. Norm. He answers some of the off the wall idiotic questions I have and I really appreciate it. One other vendor I order from just says "we don't work on the cars here" and basically cut me off when trying to get information.

I've been where you are and I know you are angry, but I'll bet they'll come through for you and you'll find they are the most helpful. We can find parts anywhere, but we can't find folks like Norm anywhere.

Just my opinion.

I have too say that Wilcox has been a great resource for me. As a proud owner of 68 vette I come across parts that are not even listed in the AIM manual. I will post questions and Ernie will be the only forum member that responds. Just recently he helped me salvage a cowl plennum on my 68 air car. He could have easily charged me several hundred dollars for this part that has never been reproduced and never will. I have been to the store and this is small business focused on customer service. This may not seem like a big deal to some but for me it is. As mentioned before I have a 68 air car. If you think the corvette tax is bad overall you should try buying parts from guy who knows you can't find this AC switch or frame extension at any large supplier. They have you over barrel and take advantage of the situation. Wilcox has not taken this approach with me. If you have to buy the part elsewhere I understand but I would keep their number handy because you might need an honest knowedgable source for parts.

Killer,

No apology needed! You are the customer! I'm on the west coast on vacation until the end of the week this coming week.

I've had about the worst luck with internet service and with this trip, it has been very frustrating. Tonight is the first night that I have had good internet service.

I'm not sure what happened but I can assure you that I will check in to this for you even if it has been resolved. It appears as if my guys have taken care of you. (Normally I’m all over any issue). I apologize that I have not responded faster to this post and I’m sure I could have nipped this faster for you!

I hope everything is OK and I can now check my direct emails tonight for the first time in over five days. If you (or anyone) ever has a problem, please feel free to email me direct at WillcoxCustomerService@Willcoxcorvette.c om.

Thanks to all that showed support for us! I think everyone knows that if I could have done something I would have and I really appreciate the support and the kind words.

Regards,

Willcox Inc.
