Rear rotor thickness?

Rear rotor thickness?
What's the thinnest thickness of a rear rotor before it has to be replaced? I know they can be turned but what is the minimum required thickness to safely operate?

You know I didn't notice on my rotors when they were off. But every time I've had one turned, the figure was cast into the rotor itself. Take a look at the rotor and see if there are any dimensions cast into it.

In Bairs catalog they state that they would have to replace the rotors on my T/As if they are less than 1 1/4 inches. That's what I remember. Go to Baris page and see what's there or call them up. They did a good job on my T/As.

Len,
I "think" the number your looking for is 1.215, and as posted it should be cast on the inside. If it was me i wouldn`t let them (especially the fronts) get anywhere near the minimum.

Thanks guys. I'm planning on changing the pads soon and wanted to check this before I started. I'll see if its stamped on the rotor too.
