Default carb or something else
I have a 73 original 350 and quadrajet. The carb was rebuilt about 3 years ago. Now it starts fine and high idle seems good. But now when I drive And take my foot off the accelerator the rpms drop then go back up. Also when I slow down or stop the car dies out. I can not figure this one out since I do not know much about engines. Thanx in advance

First, be sure the ignition system is right. Do a tune up if you have not done so recently and see if that fixes it. You should also check for vacuum leaks.

Could be several things but the first thing I'd look at is the float adjustment.
