DeWitts radiator is the bomb
I've fought summer hot temps for 3 years. Did everything except replace the radiator. New water pump, 7 blade clutch fan, water wetter or whatever the hell that stuff is, sealed all around the radiator, wired the electric fan to start with the AC, yada yada yada. Still had temps creeping towards 230 -250 on a hot summer day.
The old radiator finally decided for me...sprung a leak at a weld & actually did me a favor. Replaced it with a DeWitts aluminum radiator painted black like the original. It was a perfect fit....I didn't have to screw with the fit at all.
90* this weekend & the temp goes to 190* and stays there...even at 80 mph up a freeway steep grade. Why didn't I just do this before?
Two thumbs up for Tom Dewitt, his products and his service

I will have to agree with you. I have the DeWitts direct replacement in mine and it works great. My car runs right on the thermostat when moving. Temps will get up to 195 and the fan comes on and back down to the thermostat. DeWitts works for me too.
I finished my rear suspension upgrade over the weekend and went for the test drive. Came back and let the car sit in the garage for about 30 mins before backing out for a bit and noticed some coolant on the floor of the garage. Gotta figure out where the source is, pump or radiator....I know what will happen if it is the radiator. Too many happy customers can't be wrong.
I'll be installing one in the near future...we'll see how the car handles the Phoenix summer, but after every thing I've heard, I'm not too worried about it!
I'm down under in the Land of Oz...
and we had our hottest summer on record for many many years...
2 weeks of absolute hell
Massive bushfires,
power outages due to transformers blowing,
rail tracks deformed,
many heat related deaths too....

But my Dewitts perfect fit rad in the Vette ran with no temp problems at all.

I purchased the reproduction core for my 72 LT-1 when Tom had a forum special going on. The core looks exactly like the original.
This is one of the first things I would do if I purchased another C3. My '75 runs at a nice constant 180-190, even when it gets above 90 here in the summer. I've only seen it above 200-205 once and I was stuck in bumper to bumper traffic on a 110 degree day on blacktop. When I cleared the accident, I was back down in the 180-190 range before hitting the next mile marker!
There was no way I was going to start my new 383 engine without cleaning out the old shroud, fan , and radiator. Replaced with A Dewitt & Spal , You Bet
So where is the cheapest place to pick up one of these things?
Why That would be from Tom Dewitt, His Vendor website Is over on the Vendor list under "Cooling", Its kind of hard to see and is the only one in the catagory.
Thanks so much! We know that there are other companies selling Corvette radiators, seems like a new one every week, and we have to make our product and service first class now more than ever.

Yes, I would imagine the Chinese competition is brutal. But I am just curious: what are your stats on damage on shipping? I have been tempted to buy one of your rads but the costs (shipping return, etc.) would be enormous if the product arrived here in Canada with damage.

Chinese POS or for a few $ more, a good solid product with an impeccable rep. No brainer for me. Definitely first class all the way.
Oh yeah, don't forget to send along that freebie you promised me for starting this thread

Our damage claims are as low as it gets, less than .5%. Our shipping container is also pre-certified with UPS, so no claim can be denied for improper packaging.
