....feels like a sports car now. 600+HP 427ci small block, TKO 5 speed overdrive tranny, new brakes and hydroboost, stiffer springs and Ultra High Performance Toyo TIR tires. Handles and accelerates like a killer machine now. I am happy..for now

Here's the motor, specs below the pic, the motor should be putting out closer to 650HP / 600TQ, my previous 406ci was at 550HP and this motor is head and shoulders above it

Engine Specs are:
- World Motown 400ci small block, 350 mains with splayed billet caps,
- AFR 227 Eliminators with port matched Vic jr. intake by AFR
- T&D Shaft Rockers, 1.6 ratio, Manley .080" wall pusrods and
- Comp Cam small base circle Endurex solid roller lifters
- XR286R solid billet roller, small base circle lift .650" duration 248/254 @ .050"
- Callies DragonSlayer crank, 350 mains, 4 inch stroke
- Eagle stroker rods with ARP 2000 bolts
- Mahle pistons, with chromoly faced rings- 10.6:1cr
- ATI Race Super Dampner
- CVR billet timing cover
- CVR mini starter
- Cloyes timing set with encapsulated torrington bearing
- Melling HV oil pump
- Milodon 7 qt oil pan
- Edelbrock Victor water pump
- Hays lightweight ( 25lbs ) billet steel flywheel
- Center Force clutch
- MSD Digital E-Curve Pro Billet distributor

What are your e-tec dist settings?
I use "J, 1" for 15 degrees all in at 3000 kind of slow advance courve and 1 for least amount of vacuum advance at the highest vacuum choice.

Thanks guys, been driving it for 15 years and still can't wait to get in it, now that's money well spent 
George the digital e curve I had was a POS, caused backfires under heavy load on my newly built motor. Could have ruined it. Could not figure out what it was, did not think it was a brand new dist. Took the cap off and found
1) Rusted contacts after 1 week

2) and it looks like the spark was travelling down the cap and grounding on the dist body under heavy load.


If you are having any problems with backfiring or anything similar send it back and tell them to put it in the same pile as mine
