Default 1977 A/C Vacuum lines

Hi,

I want to go the my parts store and get new vacuum lines for the a/c-heater system. Can someone tell me the line size of the hole and how many feet of hose do I need for the whole a/c heater-heater system.

Thanks
Jack

Your heater hoses should be two different diameters. Maybe 5/8" and 3/4". Some parts houses have them together in a bag as a kit. As for the a/c hoses, you'll probably have to order them. Are you redoing the entire a/c?? If so, you'll need a few more things. As for the length of the heater hoses, if you can't find them in a kit, just take the old ones with you to get the right length. I'm not sure what you mean by vacuum lines for the a/c heater system. I think all of your vaccum lines are for headlights etc.

There are vacuum hoses that go from the control panel and power the various actuators that open doors for defroster, regular, etc. I think you will have to buy a kit from a vendor.

Buy the hose kit from one of the Vette vendors, it is much easier.

Here's the ZIP one.

The heater hoses are molded where they connect to the heater core, hoses from the auto parts store will kink because the bend it too tight, so order them from a vendor. PG.

Try Dr. Rebuild part number 9222108. None of the vendors supply vacuum hose kits with the correct molded ends, $29.95

He is not looking for Heater and A/C Hoses, he is looking for the Vacuum hose kit that goes under the dash.
