Default Need lug nuts

I got my new radiator shroud in there, and I have everything painted except the block and valve covers. Tomarrow I'll hopefully get that done, then I can drop in the radiator, and hopefully get this car back together...

Today I realized I was still missing 3 lug nuts...anyway have 3 old lug nuts they can shoot my way?? I don't start my new job for a few weeks and I really want to get this 'vette on the road, so I can enjoy it some.

Get them at any autoparts store. You can usually by them in packages per wheel. Take your old one so you can match the taper and thread size.

Are they the chrome ones that go on the aluminum wheels? I used to have a bunch of them, I'll check out in the garage, and see what I have..... Just checked, I have 15 or 20 of them, they are not in very good shape. On some the chrome is pealing off, some of them are o.k. If this is what you need, send me a E-Mail Jim.Pernice@wichita.edu, or give me a call 316-788-5063 today, or 316- 978-3747 tomorrow and I can send you some.

Today I finished:

1) putting headlight actuators in(and routing the vacuum lines)
2) had to pull out radiator support to bolt condesor on to put in as a unit(making the pull/reinstall radiator support count up around 5 times, and Im doing it alone, my back hurts :) ...)
3) painted:
-hood hinges
-hood holder-upper-thingy
-condersor brackets
-actuators
-relay
-fan shroud
-alternator
-alt brackets(upper and lower)
and I 4) installed fan shroud

all before the rain began(I did all this in about 3-4 hours).

So all I have left to do is paint the block and valve covers, paint and install the fan(im going to paint it ricer two tone. :D just kidding), replace the belts, drop in the radiator, attach the hoses, reinstall the carb, run the spark plug wires, top off all my fluids, turn the key, and hope she starts, then I put the wheels back on, drop it down off the stands, then WASH IT, the body is so dirty. After that I should be able to drive it a week or so before it goes to the body shop for touchups...

Hopefully it'll be done by wednesday I hope :blueangel:

Daniel

Sounds like you are having fun. I am in the same kind of spot. Except I don`t think I will get mine finished until maybe April. I can`t wait to drive it either.

I started in early december when the temp was steady below 60...

The thing that took the longest was waiting to find a radiator support and the money to get it...
