I've got to rebuild my front end. It pretty gusty today and I feel like I'm driving a go kart. I can mash the gas and change lanes with out moving the steering wheel. It's starting to feel out of control.
If there is a choice between safety and engine performance, go with safety. The front end re-build kits are reasonably priced. Horsepower has little significance in a ditch.
That has to be one of the best statements ever posted on the forum. My non-corvette friends are giving a lot of grief that I am totally updating and rebuild the running gear on the 80 before I move into the engine compartment.
Paul, one of the biggest problem I have faced is the reduction of front end weight. It has completely thrown off the suspension geometry. Always safety first.
