I'm troubleshooting why the heater blower doesn't work, and checking out the wiring to the fan switch under the console.
There's a large rectangular metal relay mounted to the top of the tunnel just under where the radio is located. Can someone tell me what that relay is for? This car does NOT have power windows, but does have AC.
Also, does anyone happen to have a schematic they could post or email that shows the wiring from the fan switch to the blower?
Thanks!
I'm not sure how many wires on the relay- they connect from the backside- from the firewall towards the shifter.
It's a rectangular metal box that says Delco-Remy.
What is electrical about the wiper door that needs a Relay?
I thought it was vacuum actuated?
Looks like there's two connectors on the back of the relay- one connector has two wires- blue and yellow, and the other connector has three wires- green, black, and I think either purple/white or maybe black/white.
All the wires go into a single harness that meets up with the heater fan switch wires harness, and they all head up under the dash towards the firewall.
