I saved one from a '68-72 A body....same size as our '72.....been hanging around for a long time.....I just measured, same core size, and surely you can redo the plumbing, no biggie....mounting is slightly different, bracket change...

Jeez, Sully you gotta know that is a Oriental import, no wayinhell they selling 120 bux new for a USA product of that aluminum complexity....

I have to call it a 50-50 shot vs used old American....

I have to ASSume if the old American unit is clean inside, and out, it's better.....

please don't quote me on that....

What you originally have and what you linked to is an old tube type condenser the LEAST efficient one made. Then there is the serpentine and then the best is the parallel flow. This has small tanks on each end like your radiator.
That is what makes the 134a just as cold as r12 and can be used with any refrigerant.
Search the junk yards and find one with close to the same dimensions as yours, and have your hoses made to fit it.

You can buy a universal parallel flow new for the same price as what you linked to. Do a google search.

I've got an extra one for my 1991 chevy silverado truck, I wonder if that one would work??? I guess i should pull if from storage and check/ compare the measurements. Parallel flow huh... have to look into that one.
